Gideon du Plessis

Gideon joined the erstwhile partnership of Birman, Boshoff & Coetzee as an article clerk in 1983. Upon completion of his articles of clerkship, he became a professional assistant in 1985 and a partner in 1986 under the new name of Birman, Boshoff & du Plessis. Upon the incorporation of the partnership into a professional company in 2013, Gideon became a director of Birmans. Gideon heads Birmans’ Conveyancing and Real Estate Department, attending to the transfer of immovable property, registration of mortgage bonds, notarial bonds, servitudes, antenuptial contracts and other notarial documents. Gideon also attends to the drafting of various commercial agreements and to claims in respect of personal Injuries and medical negligence. Further areas of expertise include Trust law, Mining Law and Commercial law. Gideon graduated with a B.Proc degree from the University of Pretoria in 1982, and was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer in 1985.
