Mar-lize joined Birmans Incorporated in March 2024 as a Professional Assistant, shortly after being admitted as an Attorney of the High Court in August 2023. She obtained her BCom Law degree in 2019 and her LLB in 2021.

During her articles in medical malpractice, Mar-lize gained valuable experience in birth asphyxia matters, advocating for children affected by cerebral palsy — a field in which she continues to demonstrate both expertise and compassion.

At Birmans, she deals with Estates Administartion,Taxations,and General Family Law, Correspondent matters, focusing on medical negligence, personal injury, and third-party claims, as well as Children’s Court cases. She also has a strong interest in Conveyancing and the Administration of Estates, adding further versatility to the firm’s services.
